Performance researcher Emma Waldron, media studies expert Aaron Trammell, and I are running the Nordic larp Limbo by Tor Kjetil Edland in Highland Park, NJ on Saturday June 8, 2013 from 2:45 to 8pm.
The game is about what happens after death, is mechanics light, contemplative, and perfect for anyone wanting to get a little flavor of Nordic larp. We emphatically welcome new larpers!
You can read more about the game — and sign up! — over on Emma Waldron’s site.
Cool! I’m running it a day later in Croatia (albeit with a far smaller production budget). Again we run the same thing on the same weekend 🙂
Can’t wait to hear how your larp went! 🙂
Good to hear that the wonderfull scenario ‘Limbo’ is being played again.
It has been played four times in the Netherlands last year (May 2012). Two of those times it was performed with an audience, which turned out quite nicely.
Delighted to hear about all these other runs of Limbo. I believe it’s been played in Ramallah as well!
Hi Lizzie,
I just translate this game into portuguese and will play it next month, such a coincidence!
hope you are going to have a great experience!
good luck!
