Today is a pretty special day for me: I get to check an item off my bucket list. I’m delighted to say that today is the official publication date for my first book, Leaving Mundania, a narrative nonfiction book about larp, or live action role-play.
It’s available for purchase nation-wide, including at retailers such as Indiebound, Amazon, Powell’s, and Barnes & Noble.
And in a felicitous bit of timing, the Oxford English Dictionary added the word “LARPing” to the dictionary in March. Good news for those who like pretty typography: the downcaps version is included in the definition.
Congrats, and thanks for the OED news!!
All the congratulations!
Thanks!

Congrats on the publication of your book! And double thanks for making larping look good on the BBC. You did really well. Can’t wait to get a copy of the book and give it a read!
Thanks for all the kind words!
